The Frank Lab is located at the University of Victoria. The synthesis and sample preparation laboratory is located in the Bob Wright Centre - Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (BWC), while the Multifunctional Materials Characterization Lab is located in the Elliot Building. Our research suite consists of offices, a lab space with wet benches equipped with inert gas lines for organic synthesis and coordination chemistry as well as a glove box for sample preparation. The multifunctional materials characterization laboratory (MMCL) contains a Quantum Design Magnetic Property Measurement System (MPMS), Spectra-Physics mixed gas ion laser, UV/vis and UV/vis/NIR spectrometers equipped for variable temperature studies, electrochemical workstation, and IR spectrometer. If you would like to learn more about our lab and research opportunities please contact us.
